Kamenitza: New life of a legend

Revitalizing Bulgaria's first beer, Kamenitza, was an exciting task.
Our mission was to blend its rich history with a modern design that would speak to today’s drinkers in their language. Here’s how we made Kamenitza both timeless and trendy.

The brew

Exploring Kamenitza’s past, we dug out fascinating stories from its Swiss founders and its origins in Plovdiv. We realized that today’s beer lovers want more than just a cold one—they want a sip of history, a taste of the story behind their brew on the table.

The craft

We kept the essence of Kamenitza’s classic design but added a fresh twist. More white space and brighter green tones revitalized the label.
The new logo, featuring a white neck label with the founding date, proudly showcases Kamenitza’s long history.

We introduced a new symbol: a double lion representing Bulgarian pride, standing outside a shield. The "K" inside the shield ties back to Kamenitza’s historical logos. This blend of old and new elements makes the brand instantly recognizable and meaningful.

We incorporated an illustration of Plovdiv, using simple green shades and geometric lines. This design element connects Kamenitza to its birthplace, merging the brand’s rich heritage with a fresh, modern look.

The cheers

Our design breathed new life into Kamenitza, making it stand out while honouring its heritage. The updated visuals and historical elements have attracted both loyal fans and new customers. This seamless blend of history and modernity has positioned Kamenitza as a timeless favourite with a fresh appeal. Наздраве!
