MIWA: Shopping without the extra baggage
Brand identity, Logo Design, Industrial and product design, Product development
In 2015, Cocoon decided it was time to shake things up and start our own ventures. Enter MIWA (short for Minimum Waste), the brainchild of Cocoon’s founder, Petr Báča. The mission? To revolutionize shopping by saying goodbye to wasteful single-use packaging. Today, MIWA is a thriving company, proving that responsible shopping can be as easy as it is impactful.
The big idea
MIWA isn’t just about reducing waste, it’s also about making shopping smarter and simpler. Imagine this: MIWA capsules travel straight from producers to store shelves. Shoppers then use a cool smart cup to grab exactly what they need, pay through an app, and leave with just the product – no excess packaging, no fuss.
Designing for a cleaner future
MIWA’s approach can slash environmental impact by up to 71% compared to traditional single-use packaging. That’s the kind of number that makes you sit up and take notice. So, we built MIWA’s brand identity around the idea of “Buy food, not packaging.” The design is pure and simple, just like the shopping experience. Clean lines, natural materials, and a no-frills approach that’s as straightforward as it is effective.
Keeping it clean
From concept to reality, we focused on keeping things pure. The brand identity is all about functionality and simplicity, simply good design that works. MIWA is a smart brand and (above all) a cleaner way to shop.
