Mezzo Berry Love: A flavour worth the comeback

Mezzo Mix Berry Love was a fan favourite, and it was time for its return. With the same bold taste and a fresh, eye-catching design, we created a limited edition crafted with strategy, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.

Bold meets berry

Mezzo Mix has a look, and we kept it. As part of the Coca-Cola family, it’s a German love brand with strong emotional appeal, and this new design had to build on its legacy. In-house, we blended design brand strategy with multidisciplinary design expertise to create a striking new visual: a splash of berry, a rush of colour, and just enough Valentine’s flair, without losing its signature edge. The challenge? Making it feel fresh and full of energy while staying unmistakably Mezzo.

Not just a pretty can

Great design doesn’t sit still. From PET bottles to cans, from in-store displays to point-of-sale takeovers, Berry Love showed up where it mattered, making hearts skip a beat at first glance. We worked closely with Coca-Cola to ensure a smooth launch, leveraging our expertise in packaging  design and brand experience to make an impact. Recognizing Mezzo Mix’s iconic status, we positioned Berry Love alongside the flagship product, reinforcing their connection and strengthening the link between nostalgia and innovation. 

A comeback you can taste

This wasn’t just nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake, it was about giving people a reason to fall for Mezzo Mix all over again. A Coca-Cola brand moment, a love-brand celebration, and another successful collaboration powered by Cocoon’s expertise.
